Spring Together

The Junior League of Cleveland is thrilled to announce the second annual Spring Together fundraiser took place the evening of Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Union Club.

The Spring Together fundraising event is an annual celebration that benefits and brings awareness to our signature initiative – youth aging out of the foster care system.

When kids in foster care turn 18, they are no longer part of the foster care system and many find themselves living alone, without the support, resources and guidance of a stable family or other caring adults in their lives. Each year in Ohio alone, close to 1,000 youth transition out of the foster care system. Through programs, community partners and volunteer efforts, the JLC works diligently to find ways to guide, advocate and provide for our local youth in need.

In addition, proceeds from our Spring fundraising event also go towards the JLC Scholarship, which is awarded to women with nontraditional educational paths. Thus far, we have supported the educational dreams of more than 65 women. In 2022 alone, we awarded $12,000 to scholarship recipients.

Spring Together, our largest fundraising event of the year, featured food, fun, music and a silent auction, all with the objective of raising funds for the JLC and to bring awareness to the ways in which our organization supports the Greater Cleveland community.

The event was cocktail attire and was open to significant others, community members and friends of the League.

This event is open to the public.
