DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION VICE PRESIDENT, 2022-2024: ChiChi Nkemere

ChiChi has over 10 years of experience in asset building, community engagement and education advocacy. She holds a Bachelors in Political Science, African Studies, and African American Studies from The Ohio State University, with a focus on race and electroal politics.

ChiChi is a proud TEACH for America-Houston alumna where she was able to focus on wraparound services for Blake and Latino ethnic enclaves.

ChiChi is focused on creating large-scale systems change predicated on radically inclusive racial and gender equity. As such, she co-founded Enlightened Solutions, a social advocacy research think tank.

She is a member of Mayor Justin Bibb’s Transition Team (Equity in Action), serves on the Board of Directors for The Assembly for the Arts and Preterm Cleveland. She is also an active member of The Junior League of Cleveland and the NAACP Cleveland Branch.
