Junior League of Cleveland Donates $20,000 to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank

Cleveland, Ohio – The Junior League of Cleveland is proud to announce that a gift of $20,000 has been made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to support children, families, seniors, and community members throughout Northeast Ohio. This gift seeks to address the immediate needs of the community, by providing 80,000 meals for Greater Cleveland friends and neighbors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are extremely excited to give to such a worthy local organization in such uncertain times,” states, Danielle Sobel, President of the Junior League of Cleveland. “Our gift to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank not only motivates us as individuals but adheres to our Mission of improving the lives of women and children in the Greater Cleveland community.”

The Junior League of Cleveland has been a cornerstone of the non-profit world since its founding in 1912 and is committed and focused on spending the future building a better Cleveland.
