Description
Help our Community Partner, Chair-ity, organize, clean, photograph and sort furniture donations then add them into inventory. Sort kitchen items that have been donated and pack them into cohesive boxes. Audit sections of the warehouse against their online inventory photos. You may also possibly DIY on some items that need a little paint, glue, screws, knobs, etc. Additionally there is a possibility of design opportunities, where you would help choose furniture items for an upcoming delivery to a young adult transitioning from foster care. Please note that this does require lifting of at least 20+ lbs.
PARKING: There are parking spaces in front of the building that also wrap around the side of the building, or you can park on the street.
WEAR: Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! The main warehouse space does not have air conditioning, but we will have the garage doors open weather permitting. Closed toed shoes recommended!
