Description

Work Smarter: Practical AI for Busy Women is a practical, low-pressure session for Junior League members who are balancing careers, caregiving, community commitments, and the constant mental load of keeping life moving. In alignment with Every Woman. All Things., this session explores how AI can help reduce friction in everyday work and life through practical examples like meal planning, email drafting, meeting follow-up, professional growth, and household organization. Members will leave with approachable tools, ready-to-use prompts, and simple guardrails for using AI in ways that support well-being, save time, and protect their voice.
The Every Woman. All Things. initiative especially resonates with Kristen because it reflects the reality so many women live every day: balancing leadership, work, family, service, and personal growth all at once. As both an education leader and a busy mom, she has learned to use AI not only to work more efficiently in her professional life, but also to simplify and support her personal life. She is excited to share this session with fellow League members and explore practical ways AI can help women lead, serve, and thrive in all the roles they hold.
Speaker:
Kristen Kayser is the Senior Programs Lead for the Midwest at aiEDU, where she partners with school districts, educators, and community leaders to help students build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in an AI-driven world. With experience across K-12 education, instructional design, partnerships, and program development, Kristen began her career as a high school math and AVID teacher in Cleveland Heights, later moved into district and school leadership roles in Cleveland and southern Ohio, and most recently served as Director of State and District Partnerships at College Board.
Based in Ohio, Kristen is a mom of three boys whose perspective on leadership, learning, and innovation is shaped by both her professional work and her busy personal life. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Dayton, where she has served in multiple leadership and service roles, including No Muss, No Fuss coordinator and website and membership platform coordinator, and she is slated to serve as Communications VP-elect for the 2026–27 League year.
