The Junior League of Cleveland Giving Fence is a community-focused initiative organized by the Junior League of Cleveland that provides critical seasonal essentials to neighbors in need across Greater Cleveland. Through partnerships with local organizations such as the Trinity Lutheran Church Giving Fence in Ohio City, the Junior League mobilizes donations and volunteers to collect and distribute much-needed items like warm clothing, outerwear, and other essential goods –  especially during the colder months. Started in 2020, the Junior League of Cleveland has distributed over 150 kits each season!

The initiative operates on contributions from the community — including physical donations, cash gifts, and items from curated wishlists — which directly support individuals and families facing hardship. League events, such as the JLC Holiday Market, help raise money and donated items for the Giving Fence.

By weaving compassionate service with strategic outreach, the Giving Fence reflects the Junior League’s mission of promoting voluntarism and improving local communities through meaningful action.
